MAZAGAN
Initiator of "Chaâbi-groove", a big mixture of rural singing and urban sound, Mazagan revolutionized in a sense the Moroccan popular music: reggae, ragga, chaâbi, rock, Alaoui, Jazz, funk, Zook … A well spiced sauce, a true sound crossroads where are filled the most varied musical affinities. Mazagan wants just like a Moroccan youth follower of opening, evasion and modernity while protecting a rich and well colored musical heritage. Since the release of its 1st Album " the tradition which flows " at the end of 2005, Mazagan crossed the gates of the current stage in Morocco as strong major training(formation) with an appropriate register which fires the public of the big Moroccan, African and European festivals. Mazagan managed since its reformation in 2005 to stand out as one of the inescapable figures of the Moroccan fusion thanks to its unique and innovative style and its efficiency on stage.
